As an ECE PhD student and postdoctoral scholar with the LASE group, Scott researched and developed compound semiconductor materials and devices including InAs and GaSb-based high-gain, low-noise avalanche photodiodes grown by molecular beam epitaxy (MBE). Following his postdoc, he joined the Portland Technology Development (PTD) group at Intel in Hillsboro, OR. Scott now works as a Senior Software devloper at Striveworks in Austin, TX.
