Terry supports the UT-Austin MBE lab. He is a world-recognizezed expert in MBE and ultra-high vacuum equipment and holds several key patents related to the technology of MBE: the valved arsenic cracker, the heated viewport, and several novel effusion cell designs. He has >20 years experience maintaining, upgrading, and supervising the MBE facility at UT-Austin. He has almost 10 years additional experience as a staff member at Perkin-Elmer in their MBE and physical electronics divisions.
